The Air Jordan 6 Low “Chinese New Year 2022” is a special release of Michael Jordan’s sixth signature shoe in a colorway dedicated to the cultural holiday. Released in early 2022, the “Chinese New Year 2022” edition of the Jordan 6 Low celebrates Lunar New Year, a holiday observed in Asia and all over the world that honors the beginning of a new calendar year. The shoe features a white leather upper with Metallic Gold accents on the spoiler on the heel, the midsole, and the Jumpman branding found on the heel and on the neoprene tongue overlay. A gold Jumpman appears on the lace toggle. Underfoot, an icy translucent panel surrounds the visible Air unit in the heel to complete the look.
