The Ghetto Gastro x Air Jordan 1 Low React “Fearless” is a remixed version of the classic low-top Jordan 1 by the Bronx-based chef collective as part of Nike's Winter 2019 “Fearless Ones” collection. The shoe is inspired by Ghetto Gastro’s New York City melting pot-like surroundings. It blends unique elements together for a look that is distinctly forward-looking. The upper of the shoe features a modern, bootie-like design with a canvas base, nubuck overlays, and a foot-hugging neoprene tongue, the latter in split green and red colors. Red Swooshes are found on the lateral sides, while tonal black Swooshes are present on the medial sides. Jordan Brand outfits the shoe with a React foam cushioning system, a first for the Air Jordan 1 Low, which provides advanced comfort while remaining durable.
